Frequently asked questions

What is the Meme Coin Pump Clock?

A heatmap showing the average hourly price change of major meme coins for every day of the week and every hour of the day. We aggregate 90 days of hourly price data across the top 15 meme coins, then average each 1-hour slot across all weeks and all coins to produce the typical return for that slot.

What does each cell mean?

Each cell is one hour of one weekday. Green means meme coins, on average, gain during that hour; red means they typically lose. Brighter colour means a stronger pattern. Numbers under 0.05 percent are treated as flat (grey).

Which time zone is this in?

UTC by default. You can switch to your local time zone using the toggle above the grid. The data does not change, only the labels on the rows and columns.

Which coins are included?

The current top 30 meme coins by market cap from CoinGecko's meme-token category. The list refreshes on every daily cron run so coins entering or exiting the top 30 are picked up automatically. We only include coins with at least 24 hourly price points to keep averages stable.

How often does the data update?

Once per day. The window is a rolling 90 days, so the heatmap stays current without ever resetting to zero.

Should I trade based on this?

No. This is a curiosity, not a strategy. Past hourly patterns do not predict the next hour. Use it to understand the rhythm of the meme market, not to time entries.
